Come and help
Every garden on this site is here because people showed up and put plants in the ground. We'd love for you to be one of them.
You don't need experience, tools or a long-term commitment. Come once and see how it feels. A workday is a few hours of planting, mulching or collecting seed, next to people who love explaining what everything is.
Bring gloves and water if you have them, and we'll lend you gloves if you don't. Closed-toe shoes, please. Kids are welcome with an adult.

There's plenty to do between workdays: photographing the sites, keeping plant records, talking with neighbors. Write and tell us what you're good at.
